OUR HISTORY

Inner City Sports is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children ages five to thirteen,

in the County of Santa Clara. Over the last forty years, our organization has served thousands

of children, running four leagues a year with over three hundred children participating each

season in Flag Football, Soccer, Softball, and Basketball. Over the years Solare, Overfelt, and

Horseshoe parks in San Jose have been our most active venues.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to promote youth development through team sports. We believe that every child

should have the opportunity to participate in organized physical activity and experience the

many benefits including building positive self-esteem & self-awareness as they learn to

positively interact with peers, coaches, referees, and opposing team members.
